It’s been another busy month and there are three new singles scheduled for release in September and so far one for November.
While the Cat’s Away the Mice Will Play
While the Cat’s Away the Mice Will Play released on 1st October. A playful and upbeat waltz. It has been described as a whole experience in itself and whimsical yet dramatic! Quite an unusual style for me.
Arise
Arise releases on 15th October. Spitfire Audio and Composer Magazine ran a social media campaign to get #composer highlighted as a tag. Composer Magazine created three short videos and asked people to create something on the day and share it online. Arise was the second version I wrote.
Shadow Work
Shadow Work releases on 29th October. Just in time for Halloween – this one is pretty dark! Featuring some aleatoric elements. The idea of us having a shadow side or shadow self was popularized psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl Jung. The idea is we all have a shadow side or self and that we need to embrace this aspect of ourselves to really know who we are.
Moving Mountains
Moving Mountains releases on 12th November. A cinematic uplifting track that explores inner strength that is needed when facing challenges.
